Overview
Tempest is a magnetic two-piece cooling object engineered for smooth airflow and effortless cleaning. Two precision-machined halves pull apart instantly, revealing a hidden labyrinth that cools the airflow, traps residue, and keeps performance smooth and consistent.
Sculptural in form and precise in function, Tempest is built to be used, displayed, and cleaned back to near-new whenever you want.
Optional titanium filters, available in the Tempest Field Kit, keep the airflow open and stray particles out.

Tempest is easy to clean with basic household supplies, and even easier with the Tempest Field Kit (sold separately), which includes a cleaning brush and chamber pick tool. Clean with isopropyl alcohol to restore it to near new condition.

DESIGN & MATERIAL
Tempest is designed as a sculptural object with clean, purposeful geometry and no exposed hinges or seams. Each unit is precision-machined from high-grade aluminum, finished smooth to the touch, and anodized for durability.
Two internal magnets are tuned to snap together securely and stay closed in a pocket or bag, while still pulling apart easily for cleaning.

FAQ
What is the idea behind the shape?
When we designed Tempest we redesigned the entire category. It had to be easy to clean, so it needed to come apart. It had to look good on a table, so we designed a symmetrical shape that feels intentional from every angle. The chamber is square, the Labyrinth is square, and even the mouthpiece is square, so every line lines up. The mouthpiece sits flush with the body rather than sticking out, so your lips rest against a clean edge.
How does it work?
The square chamber feeds into a hidden internal Labyrinth. As air travels through this extended pathway, it bounces around the hard angles inside. That extra distance and contact with the metal removes heat and softens the airflow. Over time, a thin layer of residue builds up along the pathway, which helps trap fine particles that would otherwise reach your mouth, so the airflow reaches your lips smoother, cooler, and cleaner.
Do your fingers get hot?
No. The Labyrinth carries heat away from the airflow, but that heat does not reach the outside. Tempest stays cool in the hand while you use it.
Do I have to use the filter?
No. The filter is optional. It is designed for finer material and to keep stray particles from reaching your mouth. If you prefer to fill a larger chamber without it, you can. Over time, the Labyrinth pathway seasons and starts to act like a natural filter as well. If the airflow ever feels restricted, that usually means the filter needs a quick clean.
How often do I have to clean it?
That depends on how often you use it. Most people can get through dozens of uses before buildup starts to affect the airflow. When it feels a little restricted, pull the halves apart, give the chamber and Labyrinth a quick clean, and you are back to full performance.
How long will it last?
Tempest is machined from solid metal with no fragile hinges or moving parts. With normal care and occasional cleaning it is built to last many years, long enough to be something you pass down.
