  • Referring URLs

We collect this information using cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies, including those described in Section 4 below.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party service providers, including:

  • Shopify, which powers our e-commerce platform and processes order and account data

  • Payment processors, who collect and process payment card and billing information to fulfill your orders

  • Advertising and analytics partners, who may provide data to help us measure the performance of our marketing

4. Tracking Technologies and Advertising Partners

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel on this Site. The Meta Pixel is a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, build advertising audiences, and retarget visitors who have previously interacted with the Site. The Meta Pixel collects information about your activity on our Site, including pages visited, products viewed, and purchases made, and transmits that data to Meta.

For more information on how Meta uses this data, please review Meta's Privacy Policy.

To opt out of Meta's use of your data for advertising purposes, visit Meta's Ad Preferences.

Meta Conversions API (CAPI)

In addition to the Meta Pixel, we use Meta's Conversions API (CAPI). The Conversions API is a server-to-server integration that sends certain customer event data (such as purchase events) directly from our servers to Meta, rather than solely through your browser. This allows us to improve the accuracy of our advertising measurement and attribution. The data transmitted may include hashed email addresses, phone numbers, and purchase event information.

Both the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API are active on this Site. Together, they help us understand which ads lead to purchases and to show more relevant ads to people who may be interested in our products.

Shopify

Our Site is powered by Shopify. Shopify may collect and use data in connection with providing its platform services. Please review Shopify's Privacy Policy for details on how Shopify handles your information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to power and improve the Site, remember your preferences, run analytics, and support advertising. Most browsers accept cookies by default. You may configure your browser to remove or reject cookies, but doing so may affect the functionality of the Site.

For information about cookies used by Shopify, see Shopify's Cookie Policy.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Our Site recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If you visit the Site with the GPC opt-out signal enabled, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. If we can associate the signal with a Shopify customer account, we will apply the opt-out to that account as well.

To learn more about GPC, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

We do not respond to other "Do Not Track" browser signals at this time.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • Service providers: vendors who perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, IT services, data analytics, and customer support

  • Meta Platforms, Inc.: in connection with our use of the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement and audience targeting

  • Shopify: as our e-commerce platform provider

  • Business and marketing partners: to provide services and deliver relevant advertising

  • Legal and regulatory authorities: when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights and the rights of others

  • Business transaction parties: in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. Advertising and Targeted Ads

We engage in interest-based advertising. This means we may use data collected on our Site to show you ads for Artifact products on other platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. We may also show ads to people whose interests and characteristics are similar to our existing customers (lookalike audiences).

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, sharing personal information with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Please see Section 8 (Your Privacy Rights) and our Your Privacy Choices page for information on how to opt out.

7. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content

Some of our advertising creative and marketing materials may be developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. In accordance with applicable platform requirements effective March 2026, we disclose this use where required. AI tools used in creative development do not independently collect or process your personal information.

10. Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend that you protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
