Tempest in your chosen finish. A cleaning brush. That's it. The Tempest Field Kit — titanium inserts, chamber pick, and extra tools — is sold separately for when you want to go deeper.
Care
Disassembles completely, so every interior surface is reachable. Clean with basic household supplies, or with the brush and pick. Isopropyl alcohol restores it to near-new.

DESIGN & MATERIAL
Tempest is a sculptural object with clean, purposeful geometry and no exposed hinges or seams. The body is anodized aluminum, finished smooth to the touch.
Two internal magnets are tuned to snap together securely and stay closed in a pocket or bag, while still pulling apart easily for cleaning.

- Soak briefly in isopropyl alcohol (optional step)
- Slide the two halves apart to access the internal labyrinth
- Use a small brush to clear the pathway and clean the surface
With regular care, Tempest can be restored to near-new condition.

FAQ
What is the idea behind the shape?
We redesigned the whole category around it. It had to come apart to clean, and it had to look intentional on a table, so we built a symmetrical form that reads the same from every angle. The opening is square, the Labyrinth is square, every line lines up. The top sits flush with the body rather than protruding, so the whole object stays clean-edged.
What is it made of?
Anodized aluminum, finished smooth to the touch. The two-piece body is held together by internal magnets. Solid, with no fragile hinges or moving parts, so it's built to take daily handling and last for years.
How does it work?
The square opening feeds into a hidden internal Labyrinth. The path runs long and turns through hard angles, and that extended route through the metal is the whole point of the design. With use, the pathway conditions and refines, improving over time.
Does it get hot to hold?
No. The internal path draws heat away from the surface, so the body stays cool in the hand.
Do I have to use the optional titanium insert?
No, it's optional. It drops into the Field Kit setup for those who want it. The Labyrinth also conditions with use. If the path ever feels less open, the insert usually just needs a quick clean.
How often does it need cleaning?
Depends how often you reach for it. Most people go dozens of uses before buildup starts to matter. When it does, pull the halves apart, clean the interior and the Labyrinth, and it's back to full performance.
How long will it last?
Solid metal, no fragile hinges or moving parts. With normal care it's built to last many years. Long enough to be something you pass down.
